The Jenny Lind Fire Protection District has had a Firefighters Association on and off since its origination in 1948. The current Association formed in July of 2008. The Association holds meetings on the third Thursday of each month at Station #1.
Objectives and purpose
1. To support and donate to local charities, burn centers, sponsorships, and the underprivileged.
2. To promote advanced education to the general public on fire and life safety.
3. To give the employees of the Jenny Lind Fire District, and any other fire district, which consolidates, merges, or otherwise joins with the Jenny Lind Fire District, a social organization to belong to.
4. To provide a linear line of communication between firefighters, chief officers, and the Board Members of the Jenny Lind Fire Protection District.

Members
1. Regular Member: Any Employee of the Jenny Lind Fire Protection District (Captains and below in rank) who are current on dues, and are in good standing with the Jenny Lind Fire Protection District.
2. Honorary Member: Any retired Employee with 10 or more years of service to the Jenny Lind Fire Protection District, or any person, not an Employee, of that the Association wishes to bestow upon them a membership as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the Association. Honorary members are not required to pay dues, cannot hold office, or vote on any matters brought before the Association.
